UFarm 2.0 Privacy policy

SCash Global Pte Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the UFarm 2.0 mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy when using our App and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use Ufarm 2.0, in compliance with the Indonesian laws and regulations, including but not limited to Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and the Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi).
By Accessing or using our App and services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data collected from users located in Indonesia in relation to registration, onboarding, and use of our App and related services.
2. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases under the Indonesian PDP Law:
- Consent: when you voluntarily provide data or agree to its processing
- Contractual necessity: to perform our obligations and provide services under our merchant or user agreement
- Legal obligation: to comply with regulatory requirements
- Legitimate interests: for business improvement, fraud prevention, and security, provided these do not override your rights
- Vital interests: where processing is necessary to protect your life, health, or safety
3. What is Personal Data?
“Personal data” refers to data about an individual that can be used to identify that individual from that data or from that data and other information which we have or is likely to have access.
3.1 Personal Data We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
(a) Personal Identification Information
- Full Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, Government-issued ID (KTP), Residential address
(b) Account and Business Data
- Merchant or business registration details, business name, tax number, payment information, and banking details
(c) Location, Device and Technical Information
- GPS location (if required – for operational verification, delivery, or service tracking)
- Device Identifiers, IP address, OS Version, App Version and App usage information
(d) Media Data
- Photos, videos, and other media you upload for verification, marketing or service use
(e) Communication and Transaction Data
- Messages, support requests, and transaction history between you and us or between users
(f) Marketing Preferences
- Your consent and preferences regarding marketing or promotional messages
3.2 Purpose of Data Collection and Use
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To register and onboard merchants and users on our platform
- To verify identity and prevent fraud or misuse
- To provide, maintain, and improve our App and related services
- To enable transactions and communication between merchants and users
- To handle inquiries, feedback, and customer support
- To analyse usage trends, monitor system performance, and develop new features
- To send notifications, updates, and promotional messages (where permitted by law)
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
- To enforce our terms of service, protect our rights, and prevent unlawful activities
3.3 Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share or disclose your personal data to:
- Our affiliates, contractors, and third party service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support)
- For customers, personal data will also be shared with Merchants and our third party service providers when an order is made
- Regulatory or law-enforcement authorities, if required by law
- Other third parties when you provide consent or when necessary for service provision
3.4 Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in line with Indonesian data protection standards.
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption, access controls, monitoring, and regular security assessments.
However, no system is entirely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security against all potential threats.
3.5 Retention of Personal Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law. When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it securely.
3.6 Your Rights under Indonesian Law
You have the following rights under Indonesian law:
- Access: to obtain confirmation whether we process your data and to access that data
- Rectification: to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: to request deletion or destruction of your data when it is no longer necessary or lawful
- Restriction/Objection: to limit or object to processing under certain conditions
- Data Portability: to receive your data in a structured format and transmit it to another controller
- Withdrawal of Consent: to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing)
3.7 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies to improve your App experience. You can control cookie settings through your device. Note that disabling cookies may affect App functionality.
UFarm 2.0 may collect and process GPS location data to:
- Verify farm location and farming activity
- Improve accuracy of crop-related services
- Support field visits, inspections, and service delivery
- Prevent fraud and ensure compliance with program requirements
GPS data will be used strictly for service-related purposes and will not be sold or shared except when required by law or necessary for delivering UFarm services.
GPS data is stored securely with technical and administrative safeguards. You may request to view, correct, or delete your GPS data, subject to legal and operational requirements. Withdrawing consent may affect your ability to receive certain UFarm services.
3.8 Children’s Personal Data
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not provide Personal Data of any kind whatsoever.
If a child under the age of 18 provides us with Personal Data, a parent or guardian of that child may have this information deleted from our records by contacting us through support@scashglobal.com.
3.9 Personal Data Breach Notification
If a personal data breach occurs that may result in harm to your rights or privacy, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant Indonesian supervisory authority as required by law, and take appropriate remedial actions.
4. Marketing and Communication
We may send promotional materials, offers, or updates about our services that we believe may interest you. You may opt out of receiving such communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or contacting us directly.
5. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend, supplement or otherwise modify this Privacy Policy and related business practices at any time without prior notice to you. Such amendments shall take effect once they are posted on this page in our App or Website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for updates. You shall be deemed to have accepted the amended Privacy Policy, whether or not reviewed by you, by your continued use of and/or access to our Platform.
